Start with the purpose and scope
Preparing further study records
We align certificates with transcripts, checking institution, major and study dates while separately presenting course completion, graduation and degree award entries.
Presenting qualifications for employment
We present educational level, mode of study and awarded degree in relation to the documented education history, without overstating the qualification.
Linking multiple certificates
We keep separate records for each stage of education, preserving distinct issue dates and numbers so readers can follow the documented study history.
Which pages and files should you prepare?
| Material | Scope to confirm | Preparation and checks |
|---|---|---|
| Qualification and graduation certificates | Supply the full page showing institution, major, level, program length and graduation statement. | Ensure the mode of study, certificate number and embossed photo seal are legible. |
| Degree certificate | Include the degree name, discipline, awarding institution and award date. | Do not substitute the graduation date for the degree award date. |
| Transcript and institution name reference | Provide related transcripts and any established English institution name. | Supply source evidence for institution renaming, mergers or changes to the major's name. |
| Replacement and identity details | Provide replacement notes, name change records and passport spellings. | Retain replacement wording and original numbers so the document is not presented as an initial issue. |
Review focused on the document details
Distinguishing certificate functions
Qualification fields describe educational level and study history; graduation fields state the completion outcome; degree fields identify the award and discipline. We translate each according to its actual wording rather than treating them as interchangeable.
Institution and major names
We check verifiable English institution names against the name used when the certificate was issued and translate majors in educational context. Unconfirmed names are flagged; rankings or accreditation assessments are not added.
Checking dates and identifiers
We check enrollment, graduation, issue and degree award dates separately, alongside certificate and student numbers. Differences are retained under their respective fields rather than altered to create a uniform timeline.
Study mode and completion outcome
We retain the stated mode of study and distinguish graduation, completion and incomplete study outcomes. We do not assign a foreign qualification level or recast a degree as professional certification without supporting evidence.
Agree the deliverables before work begins
Electronic translation
Agree PDF, Word, Excel or other formats, editability, page order and file naming. Confirm any page-by-page source correspondence before work starts.
Statements, signatures and stamps
If the recipient requires a translator statement, signature, contact details, stamp or a particular qualification, share the checklist first so the supporting set and responsible provider can be checked.
Paper copies and shipping
Agree copies, binding, source-reference pages, address and shipping milestones. Translation, supporting formalities and transit are planned separately.
Translation, notarisation, Apostille and consular legalisation are distinct stages. Check the recipient checklist to establish which stages and document combinations are needed for the intended submission.
Check credentials and document quality
See the company profile for SENIOR TRANS credential and association information. Check the holder, scope and statements or supporting work needed for this assignment before engagement.

Describe the files
Provide clear files or a redacted sample, with languages, purpose, volume and timing.
Agree the scope
Confirm main text and annexes, review, formats, supporting work, price and delivery.
Translate and review
Check fields, terminology, figures, dates and cross-document relationships.
Deliver and follow up
Deliver against the list and consolidate feedback; assess new source versions or added files separately.
Questions before you commission the work
Should graduation and degree certificates be translated together?
Both can be translated within this service, with separate titles, numbers and dates. Whether both are needed depends on the recipient's checklist. A graduation certificate alone will not be used to infer a degree award or reconstruct a degree certificate.
Can an institution's official English name be used?
Share the institution's website, existing English certificate or another reliable reference, together with the issue year. We check that the name corresponds to the institution on the source. Where names have changed, the original record remains the basis for any explanatory note.
Can a major be replaced with a familiar foreign degree title?
A major and a degree title are separate fields. Established institutional terminology can improve consistency, but the subject scope should not be changed to resemble a foreign program. Translation does not establish qualification equivalence.
How should replacement or older certificates be prepared?
Supply complete front and back images with any replacement, renaming or old-number notes. Replacement marks and legible original details are retained. Unclear embossed seals, signatures or faded text require better images rather than reconstruction from a newer template.
Describe the documents and request a quote
Share the languages, volume, purpose and preferred timing to confirm the scope, price and delivery. Complete files can follow once the transfer method is agreed.
