Start with the purpose and scope
Explaining account activity
We present activity and closing balances for the selected period, without describing statement balances as evidence of a deposit being frozen.
Supporting income documents
Alongside income or employment evidence, we check salary descriptions and credit dates while retaining source labels rather than classifying every incoming payment as salary.
Organizing multiple accounts
We identify each account, currency and period separately and clarify differing column headings without joining balances from separate accounts into one sequence.
Which pages and files should you prepare?
| Material | Scope to confirm | Preparation and checks |
|---|---|---|
| Complete period statement | Supply consecutive pages for the required period, including initial account details. | Check page count, start and end dates and the final page, including pages with no activity. |
| Original electronic file | Prefer the bank-exported PDF with headers, footers and explanatory notes. | Avoid compressed images that obscure decimal points or minus signs. |
| Account and currency details | Retain the account holder, displayed account number and currency labels. | Keep source masking unchanged and do not reconstruct hidden digits. |
| Transaction abbreviation reference | Supply any bank explanations of transaction codes, channels or abbreviations. | Identify whether explanations come from the bank or from personal notes. |
Review focused on the document details
Amounts and payment direction
We check debit and credit labels, signs and decimal places while preserving original amounts and currencies. Unusual direction indicators are clarified rather than replacing transaction types based on balance movements.
Dates and transaction order
We distinguish transaction, posting and statement generation dates and preserve the source order of same-day entries. Records crossing pages remain traceable; repeated dates do not justify merging or removing entries.
Descriptions and counterparties
We check descriptions, channels and counterparty names, retaining payment messages and relevant codes. Ambiguous merchant abbreviations are not expanded into assumed names, and personal interpretations are not substituted for payment descriptions.
Page continuity and verification details
We compare page numbers, account suffixes and periods for continuity and retain print dates, electronic seals and verification notes. Translating those fields does not replace verification by the issuing bank.
Agree the deliverables before work begins
Electronic translation
Agree PDF, Word, Excel or other formats, editability, page order and file naming. Confirm any page-by-page source correspondence before work starts.
Statements, signatures and stamps
If the recipient requires a translator statement, signature, contact details, stamp or a particular qualification, share the checklist first so the supporting set and responsible provider can be checked.
Paper copies and shipping
Agree copies, binding, source-reference pages, address and shipping milestones. Translation, supporting formalities and transit are planned separately.
Translation, notarisation, Apostille and consular legalisation are distinct stages. Check the recipient checklist to establish which stages and document combinations are needed for the intended submission.
Check credentials and document quality
See the company profile for SENIOR TRANS credential and association information. Check the holder, scope and statements or supporting work needed for this assignment before engagement.

Describe the files
Provide clear files or a redacted sample, with languages, purpose, volume and timing.
Agree the scope
Confirm main text and annexes, review, formats, supporting work, price and delivery.
Translate and review
Check fields, terminology, figures, dates and cross-document relationships.
Deliver and follow up
Deliver against the list and consolidate feedback; assess new source versions or added files separately.
Questions before you commission the work
Can you translate only the salary credit rows?
An extract can be prepared where appropriate for the recipient, with its period, source pages, headings and account context clearly identified. If a complete statement is required, provide consecutive pages. An extract will not be presented as a full record.
What if part of the account number is masked?
We preserve masking and check that visible suffixes agree across pages. Hidden digits are not guessed. If the recipient requests a full number, ask the bank what documentation it can provide before arranging translation of that document.
Can all abbreviations be written out in full?
Abbreviations supported by bank explanations can be expanded accordingly. Unconfirmed codes remain identifiable as source markings. Personal notes may assist review, but they do not replace bank descriptions or establish the counterparty's legal identity.
Will the translation calculate total income or convert currencies?
The translation retains stated amounts and totals without treating all credits as income or adding currency conversions. A separate summary would need an agreed method and sources and should be clearly distinguished from the statement translation.
Describe the documents and request a quote
Share the languages, volume, purpose and preferred timing to confirm the scope, price and delivery. Complete files can follow once the transfer method is agreed.
