Start with the purpose and scope
Evidence of funds held
We present the bank's stated deposit at a reference date or over a period, with its currency, without substituting it for a transaction history.
Organizing deposits in different currencies
We retain each currency and account amount and any source total without applying an exchange rate to create a single combined figure.
Supporting an asset document set
We compare names and dates across income, statement and asset records, keeping evidence of source, funds held and transaction activity distinct.
Which pages and files should you prepare?
| Material | Scope to confirm | Preparation and checks |
|---|---|---|
| Original deposit certificate | Supply both sides, attachments and all stated bank terms. | Ensure numeric and written amounts, currency and reference number are fully legible. |
| Account and deposit details | Include referenced account numbers, deposit receipt numbers or itemized lists. | Match items to stated totals and retain any masking. |
| Reference dates and restrictions | Include balance dates, certificate periods and any freeze or release terms. | Distinguish issue, maturity and restriction end dates. |
| Name and bank references | Provide passport spelling and established English bank and branch names. | Identify any joint holders and the holding arrangement stated in the source. |
Review focused on the document details
Amounts and deposit items
We check currencies, units, receipt numbers and totals, retaining separate principal or interest fields where given. Unstated interest is not calculated, and overlapping records are not turned into a new duplicated total.
Reference dates and periods
We distinguish a dated balance, a period-based deposit statement and the issue date, checking what each range modifies. The stated scope remains unchanged without adding claims of stable ownership or continuing availability.
Freeze and usage conditions
Where freezes, early withdrawal, pledges or other restrictions appear, we check conditions and exceptions in full. A freeze is not invented where absent, and restrictions are not simplified into a blanket statement of unavailability.
Bank statements and verification details
We check bank and branch names, seals, verification numbers and liability wording, including statements that the certificate does not replace another instrument. Translation does not itself establish bank verification of the current balance or deposit status.
Agree the deliverables before work begins
Electronic translation
Agree PDF, Word, Excel or other formats, editability, page order and file naming. Confirm any page-by-page source correspondence before work starts.
Statements, signatures and stamps
If the recipient requires a translator statement, signature, contact details, stamp or a particular qualification, share the checklist first so the supporting set and responsible provider can be checked.
Paper copies and shipping
Agree copies, binding, source-reference pages, address and shipping milestones. Translation, supporting formalities and transit are planned separately.
Translation, notarisation, Apostille and consular legalisation are distinct stages. Check the recipient checklist to establish which stages and document combinations are needed for the intended submission.
Check credentials and document quality
See the company profile for SENIOR TRANS credential and association information. Check the holder, scope and statements or supporting work needed for this assignment before engagement.
View professional credentialsA clear path from files to feedback
Describe the files
Provide clear files or a redacted sample, with languages, purpose, volume and timing.
Agree the scope
Confirm main text and annexes, review, formats, supporting work, price and delivery.
Translate and review
Check fields, terminology, figures, dates and cross-document relationships.
Deliver and follow up
Deliver against the list and consolidate feedback; assess new source versions or added files separately.
Questions before you commission the work
How does a deposit certificate differ from a bank statement?
A deposit certificate describes funds at a stated date or period according to its wording; a statement lists account activity. Each translation retains its own fields without reconstructing the other. The recipient's checklist determines which evidence is needed.
Should frozen be added if the source does not say so?
A freeze cannot be added or inferred solely from a certificate period. If a separate bank agreement imposes restrictions, supply it for comparison. The translation states restrictions and their scope only where supported by source wording.
Can different currencies be converted into renminbi?
The translation retains original currencies and any bank-stated conversion. A separate reference conversion would need an identified rate source, date and purpose and must not appear to be an amount certified by the bank.
Can the translation be reused after a stated period ends?
The translation continues to reflect the source dates, but suitability for a new submission depends on the recipient's requirements. Changing a translation date cannot renew a certificate. Obtain a new bank document if current evidence is required.
Describe the documents and request a quote
Share the languages, volume, purpose and preferred timing to confirm the scope, price and delivery. Complete files can follow once the transfer method is agreed.
