大手笔，青岛未来将再添7个机场
2018年6月5日，山东省政府发布《山东省民用机场布局规划》，其中规划青岛市即墨、平度、青岛公务机、莱西、崂山、胶州洋河、青岛西海岸7个通用机场。即墨、平度、青岛公务机、莱西通用机场规划2018至2022年建设，崂山通用机场规划2023至2025年建设，胶州洋河、青岛西海岸规划2026至2035年建设。

Provincial Civil Airport Layout Plan”, which included Qingdao Jimo,
Pingdu, Qingdao Business Jet, Laixi, Lushan, Jiaozhou Yanghe and Qingdao
West Coast 7 general airports. Jimo, Pingdu, Qingdao Business Jet, Lacey
General Airport is planned to be constructed from 2018 to 2022, Laoshan
General Airport is planned to be constructed from 2023 to 2025, and
Jiaozhou Yanghe and Qingdao West Coast are planned to be constructed
from 2026 to 2035.
目前，即墨、平度、莱西3个通用机场正在推进前期工作。

其中，即墨通用机场位于蓝谷高新区，拟建800×30米跑道，配套建设塔台、航站指挥综合楼、办公生活用房等附属设施，配套建设基地航管工程，目视助航设施等。该项目是空客H135直升机总装线项目的试飞场地，计划开展教育培训、应急救援等通航服务，目前正在推进前期审批工作。
