青岛五四广场位于新市府大楼南面，香港中路与东海路及环海路之间的部分。总面积约10公顷，由中心广场、绿茵广场及滨海公园三部分组成。
Qingdao May Forth Square lies
south to the new municipal hall, surrounded by Hong Kong Middle Road,
Donghai Road
and Huanhai Road.
It consists of Central
Square,
Lawn Square
and Sea Park, three parts, with a total
construction area of 10 hectares approximately.
从市政府大楼的中轴线向南延伸形成约720米的广场中轴线，构成整个市政府广场的中央主轴。东西轴线与中央主轴形成严谨的十字型构架，长约330米、宽90米的南北主轴与长约290米、宽70米的东西辅轴架构出十字型的中心广场和绿茵广场，通过种植的设计，力求表达“宁静、典雅”与“浓烈、安逸”的优美境界。
The central axis of the
municipal hall is extended southward roughly 720m to form the central axis of the
square, and composes the central main axis of the whole municipal
square. A precise cross frame is generated by east, west and central
axes. South and north main axis, 330m
in length and 90m in
width, as well as east and west auxiliary axis, 290m in length and 70m in width, forms Center Square and Lawn Square in
cross. The plantation design expresses "tranquility and elegance"
together with "richness and ease".
滨海公园以直径115米的雕塑广场为中心，南北220米，东西420米组成滨海休闲绿地。其中主题雕塑“五月的风”已成为青岛市的标志性城市雕塑。
Sea
Park is centered
on Statue Square with a diameter of 115m, stretching 220m in south and north direction, and 420m in east and west direction, to
constitute the coastal leisure lawn. Its subject statue, Wind of May,
has been regarded as the symbolic statue of
Qingdao.
五四广场将绿化草坪、小品、露天音乐广场、喷泉及大型城标主题雕塑融为一体，充分体现了以人为本的创作思想。她的建成，已成为青岛市新的景点和最具代表性的城市广场艺术作品，在国内乃至国际间具有深远影响力。
May Forth Square delicately integrates lawn,
drama, open music square, springs and large symbolic statue to
demonstrate the humanity essence in design to the fullest extent. Its
establishment has become the new scenic spot and the most outstanding
municipal artwork in Qingdao, and rendered
profound impact both internally and internationally.
